That sounds familiar. My wife is American and getting the leave and remain visa was a nightmare. She's looking @ dual nationality now so lets see how long that's takes for the 600 and odd pounds they want!.
Hi Andy, it's an expensive and time consuming process. I really enjoyed going over some of the times we spent together earlier in our relationship. We haven't bothered with my spouse visa over here in Japan due to the expense and the time it would take. For me be eligible for a permanent visa, it would take around 10 ten years on a spouse visa first.
